FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


TYPES OF PRINTING AND PRICES?

The printing that we offer is foil, letterpress, flat printing (digital), thermography, laser cutting and engraving, so.... the short answer is that we offer every type of printing for your custom project. We also offer boxes, pocket folders, belly bands, and other custom embellishments. The sky is the limit to what we can create for you! Custom design fees are additional and are based on what you're having printed, the quantity, the number of ink colors, and any special details you choose to add. Please contact us for a quote and if you know the quantity and the type of printing,  and we can begin the conversation!

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH WEDDINGS AND INVITATIONS?

No! We work with businesses, events, logos, and can print on anything from koozies, napkins, cups, iphone cases, and more! Our background is in graphic design, so we can design anything for you, and either you can have it printed or we can. Please contact us in advance, though, because during wedding season our custom bookings fill up quickly.

I'M ON A BUDGET, CAN YOU STILL WORK WITH ME?

Yes! Just because we are a custom design studio does not mean that we do not work with all budgets! Please let us know the price range that you would like to stay in, and we will suggest the type of printing, paper, and design to keep you in that range. If you are on a budget, we suggest that you choose from our pre-designed collection. 

CAN I ORDER SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY DESIGNED (NOT CUSTOM)?

We love custom orders, but we also love it when you choose a design we have created (that makes us feel good!). We are currently working on our collection from all of our orders (and it is a LOT) but if you have a design in mind, we may already have something similar to it. This means no custom fee for you. TURNAROUND TIME FOR DESIGN AND PRINTING?

The short answer is it depends on the project. Pre-designed invitations take 3 business days to receive a proof after the contract is signed and the wording is sent to the designer. If it is a custom design (this means we design it from scratch) please give us at least a week (sometimes up to 3-4 weeks for design time (depending on the complexity of the design), and once the design is approved it takes 5-10 business days for flat (digital) printing, and 10-15 business days for letterpress or foil pressed printing. We will give you a date to expect your invitations, and a contract that we both e-sign with the date to have everything by.

WILL MY INVITATIONS BE ASSEMBLED?

We are happy to assemble any invitation suite for you. Belly bands, ribbons, etc are not assembled unless you order it assembled. The base fee starts at $200, depending on the quantity of your order and the complexity of your assembly.

CAN YOU STUFF AND MAIL MY INVITATIONS?

Yes, we charge a fee for stuffing and mailing that starts at $200 and pricing is based on the complexity of the stuffing and assembly. 

DO YOU OFFER CALLIGRAPHY SERVICES?

We do offer beautiful calligraphy, either in house or printing with fonts. Please contact us for a quote and we will send a sheet of prices and styles. 

HOW LONG BEFORE OUR WEDDING SHOULD WE PLACE AN ORDER?

You should mail your order (have the invitations in the mail) 8-10 weeks before your wedding, and six months for the Save the Dates. We will give you a timeline based on your wedding date as to when you should have the invitations in the mail. But we suggest contacting us at least 7-9 months before your wedding for your Save the Dates, and 4-6 months before your wedding for your invitations to give us time for the proofing and printing. 

DO YOU PROVIDE THE WORDING?

It is up to every client to provide the wording. We can direct you to some wording ideas, and give you suggestions on what sounds best, but since we do not know your wedding details it is up to you to provide the exact wording for us. 

WILL YOU SEND A SAMPLE OR PROOF BEFORE PAYMENT?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a sample or email a proof without a deposit of at least $200 is received or a contract is signed. 

DO YOU PROOFREAD?

To an extent, yes, but ultimately the proofreading is the responsibility of the client. All wording is to be provided to the designer by the client, and all proofs MUST be proofread by the client. Please check everything and send it to as many people as possible before approval. If there are any mistakes overlooked and the proof is already sent to print, you must pay in full to reprint. We cannot stress how important it is to proofread! 

WHAT ARE YOUR INK CHOICES AND PAPER CHOICES?

Please view this link HERE for customization options. And HERE for font choices. We can also purchase fonts for you for an additional fee or have a calligrapher write the bride and groom names (and also the entire suite) starting at $200. 

DO YOU TAKE RUSH ORDERS?

Custom design can be rushed with a fee (based on the complexity of the design). Flat printing can be rushed with a rush fee of 30% upcharge. Depending on your timeframe, we can rush letterpress or foil pressed with a 40% upcharge.

WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?

We take credits card payments with a processing fee. We also take Venmo, Cash, Check, or PayPal.
